This page is split into what works today and what is still being built, and we keep it that way deliberately — a “coming soon” dressed up as a feature is the fastest way to lose an operator’s trust in the first week.
- Your phone number
- Forward your existing line to Mango and keep the number that is on your vans, your invoices and every listing you have ever paid for. No porting, no new hardware, and you can point the forwarding back at yourself whenever you want.
- Mango answers on WhatsApp the way it answers the phone: it qualifies the job, quotes from your price list, and puts the booking on the calendar without a human touching the thread.
- Text messages
- Missed-call text-back, appointment confirmations, and on-the-way messages. A caller who hangs up gets a text before they have finished dialling your competitor.
- Calendar invites
- Every booked job arrives as a standard calendar invite, so it lands in whatever calendar your team already runs — Google, Outlook, Apple — with the address, the fault and the caller in the body.
- Email summaries
- A written recap of every call: who rang, what they needed, how it was triaged and what was booked. Useful as a paper trail, and as the thing you skim on a Monday morning.

How connecting actually works
Setup is a forward, not a migration. You point your existing number at Mango — the same forwarding setting every phone system has — and Mango starts answering. Nothing is ported, nothing is replaced, and switching it back is the same setting in reverse.

Until the direct syncs above ship, bookings reach your team as calendar invites, email summaries and job sheets — which is why those are on the “working today” list rather than treated as a stopgap. Most shops run this way indefinitely and do not miss the API.
