Who Can Request Data Deletion?
You may request deletion of personal data if you are:
An account holder or authorized representative of a business that uses Mango
An individual whose personal information was collected through a call handled by Mango (for example, a customer who called a home service business using our service)
An authorized agent acting on behalf of either of the above (with proper documentation)
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To submit a data deletion request, please follow these steps:

Include the following information in your email so we can locate and verify the relevant data:
Your full name
The phone number associated with the data (especially important for call-related requests)
The email address linked to any Mango account (if applicable)
The name of the business that uses Mango (if you are a customer of one of our business clients)
A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data
Any additional details that can help us identify the records (such as approximate date of the call or service address)
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request. This step is required to protect against unauthorized deletion requests.
Self-Service Deletion Agent
Upon request, we can also assign you access to a separate self-service Agent where you can review and delete your personal data yourself. If you would prefer this option, please mention it clearly in your email request, and we will provide the necessary access instructions after verifying your identity.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon a verified request, we will delete the personal information we hold about you, which may include:
Call recordings
Call transcripts
Caller name, phone number, and service address
Job details linked to the call
Account-related personal information (if you have a Mango account)
Other personal data collected in connection with the Service
Timeframe for Deletion
We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable time.
Verified deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days.
In some cases, we may need additional time (up to an extra 45 days where permitted by law). If an extension is needed, we will notify you.
Exceptions – When We May Retain Certain Data
We may retain some information when required or permitted by law, including:
Data we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance
Data needed to detect or prevent fraud, security incidents, or illegal activity
Data that is necessary to complete a transaction or provide a service you requested
Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you
Data that the business customer (the company using Mango) is required to retain under their own legal obligations
In these cases, we will limit further use of the retained data to the specific purpose that requires retention.
Confirmation of Deletion
After we complete the deletion (or determine that an exception applies), we will send a confirmation email to the address you used to submit the request.
Additional Rights Under CCPA / CPRA
In addition to deletion, California residents have the right to:
Know what personal information we collect about them
Request correction of inaccurate personal information
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information)
